Terminology

Terminology​

Before writing queries, we need to know a few terms that will later be used in the documentation:

  • Database-Name
  • Retention-Name
  • Measurement

Finding Available Measurement​

To explore your database structure and discover available measurements:

  1. Navigate to the Storage Hub application

  2. Select the database you want to explore

    StorageHub Database

  3. Click on the Measurements tab

    StorageHub Measurement

This view shows you all the measurements (tables) that contain data, which you can then query in your dashboards.
