What you can do
Edge Gateways
- Add or edit edge devices
- View them and their latest status

- Track configuration status (pending / up-to-date / out-of-date)
Legacy “Device / Logger” → now Edge Gateway.
Configurations
- Create configurations for Edge Gateways
This answers questions like- Via which connections should they collect data?
- Which variables should they measure?
- Where should they store them locally?
- Should this data be synced to the cloud?
- Edit configurations
Baseline configuration per device/site type.
Minimal per-device overrides.
Less drift, faster troubleshooting.
Fleets
Fleets = groups of Edge Gateways with shared assets.
Shared within a fleet

Multiple gateways with the same setup.
Multi-site rollouts.
Central governance (one change → many gateways).
Fleet-level changes can affect all gateways in the fleet.
Prefer staged rollout / test fleet when available.
Projects
Projects = grouping for targeted browsing and project-specific software.
- Group devices by customer / site / use case
- Add project description (Markdown)
- Attach software resources (e.g., Dual simulation)
Projects = organization + software access.
Not a replacement for configuration management (Configurations/Fleets).
