Resource Details

General​

  • Name: Displays the resource’s full name.
  • Company: Shows the associated company for the resource.
  • Type: Indicates the resource type (e.g., Installer, Software Update, Artifact Bundle).
  • Tags: Optionally categorize resources with tags for easier filtering.
  • Shareable: Toggle to allow the resource to be shared with parent or child companies.
  • Documentation: Field to include a description or instructions for the resource, such as installation steps or usage notes.

Versions​

  • Maintain multiple versions of each resource for traceability and rollback.
  • Deploy specific versions reliably.
  • Designate a version as the Recommended Version for general use.
  • Label versions as Beta using an beta tag format (e.g., x.x.x-beta).

Changelog​

  • Track changes between versions with a comprehensive changelog.

README​

  • Include a README file to provide context, instructions, or additional details for each resource.

Linking Resources​

  • Associate resources with Devices, Fleets, and Projects for targeted deployment.
